This site belongs to Aristide KARBOU, software architect and full-stack developer based in Lomé, Togo. It collects as little personal data as it can, and never sells or shares it.
When you send a message or leave your details to Tig, the site keeps what you typed (name or first name, email or phone, your request) to reply to you, and sends it to Aristide by email. Tig's form only sends your details once you tick the consent box. In the chat, Tig asks for your first name and an email or phone number and says it will pass them on to Aristide: typing them is your go-ahead, and Tig only passes on what you typed yourself. These details are kept as long as needed to follow up on your request, then deleted.
Tig answers with Google Gemini, using only the public content of this site. Your messages are sent to Google to generate the answer and stored with an anonymous session identifier, so you can pick the conversation up again. Do not share sensitive information in the chat. Conversations are deleted after 90 days without activity, and anonymous sessions after 60 days.
The site uses Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Vercel Analytics to understand how pages and Tig are used, in aggregate. Tig's own events (opened, message sent, suggestion shown…) carry no message content and are deleted after 30 days. Your IP address is only kept as a hash that changes every day, to limit abuse.
Tig keeps a few settings in your browser's local storage: an anonymous session token, whether you asked it to stay quiet, and which suggestions you have already seen. Clearing your browser's site data erases them.
Calls are booked through Cal.com, which has its own privacy policy. This site does not receive the details you enter there, apart from the booking itself.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to dev.aristidekarbou@gmail.com. Requests are answered within 30 days.
